Planting & Care Instructions

1. Choose the Right Location: Select a spot with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
2. Prepare the Soil: Mix equal parts loam, organic compost, and garden soil. Aim for a soil pH between 6.0 and 6.5.
3. Planting in a Grow Bag or Pot: Use a 16″–18″ diameter grow bag or large pot. Place the sapling so the graft union is 3″–4″ above soil level. Backfill gently and water thoroughly.
4. Watering Schedule:
   • Years 1–3: Water daily to keep the soil consistently moist (avoid waterlogging).
   • After Year 3: Water only during prolonged dry spells. No watering required in fall or winter.
5. Fertilization:
   • First 2 Years: Apply balanced NPK fertilizer (10-10-10) every 3 months.
